Deep Tissue Massage

Is a much deeper massage, it works using, thumbs, wrists, forearms and elbows to stretch out and release muscles that are shortened and tense. It helps to free up your body and improves flexibility. Choose from one hours back massage or one hours leg massage. Each massage is different, and tailored to suit the individual and work on specific areas of knots or tension.

Deep Tissue Massage is good for tackling:

  • Muscular knots
  • Lower back ache
  • Aches and pains after sleeping funny
  • Tight aching shoulders, back, neck, due to long hours at the computer
  • Stiff and sore muscles after unaccustomed exercise or physical work
  • A build up of lactic acid in the muscle after taking more exercise than usual.
  • Afterwards:

You may feel some soreness during or right after the massage, but you will feel like you have had a thorough massage and feel better than ever within a couple of days.

    How often:

It's important to be realistic about what one massage can achieve. Many people ask for more pressure, thinking that if the therapist just pushes hard enough, they can get rid of all their knots in an hour. This just won't happen. In fact, undoing chronic knots and tension built up over a lifetime is best achieved with a regular massage programme:

  • For muscular pain and aching limbs, generally once a week in the beginning to tackle the muscle pain and stiffness, progressing to once a fortnight, then once a month, depending on the individual.
  • Regularly for runners, footballers and sports people to help ease muscle knots after training and to help you become more body aware..
  • 1 Hour Deep Tissue Legs Massage: £25
1 Hour Deep Tissue Back and Neck Massage: £25
